Hall for Cornwall

While working as an Architectural Assistant at Burrell Foley Fischer, I supported the design and delivery of the Hall for Cornwall, a Grade II* listed theatre in Truro. The project offered an invaluable first insight into RIBA Stages 4 and 5, and was the practice’s most significant appointment as Contract Administrator, Lead Designer, and Principal Designer.

My experience included attending site meetings, shadowing site inspections, and meeting with the client team to discuss final design details. I was responsible for producing technical drawings for the dressing rooms and developing the bespoke fabric design for the new auditorium seating - the seat fabric remains a distinctive detail within the award-winning building.
