About Me
I’m an architectural designer and project manager driven by a belief that thoughtful design can connect people, place, and ecology. Through Rooted Works, I explore how collaboration and creativity can shape more grounded and regenerative ways of living and building.
My work spans design, collaboration, and delivery. Whether developing clear project ambitions, facilitating a community co-design process, or coordinating a project team, I approach each stage of project management and engagement with curiosity, care, and an emphasis on collaboration.
With architectural experience across the charitable sector, conservation, retrofit, and residential design, my work is guided by social impact, a material-first attitude, and a commitment to sustainable, low-carbon design. I’m fascinated by the potential of natural materials, particularly timber, and how they can help reshape our relationship with the environment. To date, I’ve developed a knowledge base in natural building materials, material procurement, affordable and circular construction techniques, and engagement with groups typically excluded from the construction industry.
As a strong communicator, I value clear dialogue, collective problem-solving, and the quiet satisfaction of making things happen. Above all, I aim to contribute to projects that feel generous, ambitious, and exciting. I’m driven to continue working with diverse communities, teams, and stakeholders to shape more regenerative and connected forms of living.
